Thrillville: Off the Rails, is a new attempt to expand to a bigger number of possible platforms, it will be available for Nintendo DS, Wii, Xbox 360 and PC Games for Windows TM. One of the keys for the success of Thrillville is that the creators did not center the game’s dynamic on the management part of the park which can be a little bit boring. While many other simulation games center the attention in many data menus with statistics and economic figures, this game leads us to think more about visitor’s fun and ours.
This game includes some new features such as game modes, mini games and extras. I remember the first time I saw a mini game: it was Maniac Mansion inside Day of the Tentacle, pretty fun by the way. Anyway, these mini games, summing up to a number of more than 30, were present in the original game, but now, we can say that they are now “reloaded”. Fourteen of those mini games are completely new and they will be only available in Off the Rails. The attractions now have new designs and models, besides, there are new preset constructions, ready to be installed in our park. As far as the graphic and sound features are concerned, we’ll see not many changes, and in many platforms, some of these features will not be as highly as detailed as in other ones. However, the game keeps it’s fresh and unleashed happiness as in the first part. If you liked Thrillville, Thirllville: Of the Rails be a good way of continuing the fun.
